Automatic hydraulic balancing
- Efficiency for your heating system
Brilliant prospects for design lovers: For the first time, eQ-3 is presenting wall-mounted push-buttons and thermostats made of high-quality glass that fit perfectly into stylish interiors. Simple operation and flexible programming make the exclusive glass product line a highlight in the smart home.
Wall push-buttons, light switches and co. often seem inconspicuous, but are among the most frequently used control elements in everyday life. It is not without reason that eQ-3 is now giving these products a completely new look with a smart twist: high-quality real glass in elegant black or timeless white meets maximum functionality. The Homematic IP product line for high design standards includes glass push-buttons, wall thermostats with and without CO2 sensors and matching glass frames that fit stylishly into high-quality interiors and visually enhance any room.
The surface made of durable and hygienic real glass attracts everyone's attention thanks to its elegant look. In standby mode, the display brightness is automatically reduced, but a brief press on the touch-sensitive glass surface reveals the full functionality:
The wall push-button can be used individually and flexibly in one-, two- or four-button operation and configured to control all Homematic IP solutions - from lighting and shading to access control, it opens up a wide range of possible applications. Visual feedback via illuminated dividing bars makes operation particularly easy. An immediate send command is triggered when the respective button is touched. A long button press for dimming lights, for example, as well as a quick action function when all touch surfaces are touched simultaneously can also be programmed.
The wall thermostat shows the set and actual temperature, humidity and, depending on the version, CO2 values in different display modes. Touching the + and - touch surfaces changes the temperature in 0.5°C steps. The integrated relay can be used directly with thermal actuators to control underfloor heating. If no underfloor heating is in use, the switching output can be used as a light switch - ideal for retrofitting.
The high-quality glass inserts are inserted into a flush-mounted unit supplied and supplied with power (230V). In addition to the power supply, a switching relay is also built into the flush-mounted unit. This means that existing light switches can be easily replaced. Another plus: the extension input of the flush-mounted module can also be evaluated with the glass push-button and configured as either a switch or push-button sensor in order to use other conventional push-buttons from the electrical installation in parallel.
As part of the Homematic IP smart home system, the products in the glass series communicate easily via radio and are simple to set up, individually program and control using the free Homematic IP app.
The following Homematic IP glass series products will be available from mid-2025:
