Thanks to battery operation and the secure Homematic IP wireless connection, it can be easily installed in any suitable location. An integrated loudspeaker provides acoustic feedback when the button is pressed to signal that the doorbell has been triggered. In addition to being used as a classic doorbell, for example to control the Homematic IP combination signalling device, the button can perform many other actions in the Homematic IP system.
