Easy to install, noticeably comfortable: The new Homematic IP Floor Heating Controller – 8 channels, motorised

As anyone with underfloor heating knows, the inertia of the system makes rapid temperature adjustments impossible. With manual control, rooms are therefore often overheated or too cool. It is better to leave the control to an intelligent system that not only heats particularly comfortably, but also efficiently and saves energy.

The Homematic IP floor heating controller with motorised valve drives takes over the entire control and optimisation of the underfloor heating system. From the end of October, eQ-3 will be offering the floor heating controller - 8 channels, motorised as a new, compact version. With eight channels, it is ideal for most apartments and houses.

Energy-efficient heating with hydraulic balancing

Based on the desired room temperature, the controller automatically regulates the flow of heating water into the heating circuits. Up to six heating and cooling profiles with individual temperature profiles allow perfect adaptation to your daily routine. Intelligent algorithms automatically compensate for changes in room heating requirements and different hydraulic conditions - automatic hydraulic balancing performed directly on the heating circuit. This ensures that every room is heated comfortably without wasting energy.

Compared to conventional valves, the use of motorised valve drives saves additional electricity and enables almost infinitely variable control of the heating water flow. The even flow of heating water protects the heat generator, increases its service life and ensures more economical operation, as frequent cycling is avoided. This makes the floor heating controller the best friend of every heat pump.
 

Quickly installed, intelligently controlled

Thanks to its space-saving design and flexible installation options – on a DIN rail, C-rail or by screw mounting – the device can be easily installed in the heating circuit distributor. Connecting the motorised valve drives is just as easythanks to pre-assembled plugs. The illuminated display clearly shows the status of the valves, facilitating commissioning and functional tests.

The floor heating controller - 8 channels, motorised works both on its own, in conjunction with up to eight compatible Homematic IP wall thermostats, as well as part of the Homematic IP smart home system. All settings can be conveniently configured via the Homematic IP app. The controller can also be combined with more than 150 other smart products from the Homematic IP range.
