The smartest Homematic IP control unit ever
With the Homematic IP Home Control Unit, the German smart home specialist eQ-3 presents a powerful control unit that offers simplicity, convenience, security and an unprecedented level of flexibility. Also exciting: the design! The new Home Control Unit attracts everyone's attention and perfectly combines functionality with an elegant look.
The ambition that the German manufacturer eQ-3 has set itself with its latest product development is clear: ‘Next Level Smart Home’. The Homematic IP Home Control Unit is a milestone for the smart home specialist and takes smart living to a new level. Never before has the control of Homematic IP solutions been smarter, more flexible and more visually appealing.
One for all
The Homematic IP Home Control Unit supports the entire Homematic IP portfolio with more than 170 modular devices. From radiator thermostats to motion detectors - everything can be conveniently controlled. And that flexibly online and offline via the free Homematic IP app.
Partner solutions such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Philips HUE lights, EZVIZ cameras and many more are also part of the system. With the included plug-in for Philips Hue, users can integrate one Philips Hue Bridge with all connected light sources into the Homematic IP smart home.
In addition to convenient control, the new Home Control Unit offers practical energy monitoring for the smart home. Because only those who can accurately display the flow of electricity in their own home have the opportunity to optimise consumption. Via the EEBUS interface inverters, wallboxes, heat pumps and battery storage units can be connected to the smart control unit.
Full control: online and offline
Flexibility is the top priority with the new Home Control Unit. Users decide for themselves whether they want to operate their smart home system purely locally and therefore offline or connect it to the secure Homematic IP cloud servers for extended convenient functions such as remote access, automatic updates and voice control. WLAN and LAN connection, plug-in functionality and numerous connection options make the Home Control Unit the most variable Homematic IP control unit ever.
Safety comes first
As expected from Homematic IP solutions, the new Home Control Unit also fulfils all security criteria. The security of Homematic IP is continuously checked by independent institutes such as the VDE, which has certified the smart home system for the seventh time in a row for its protocol, IT and data security.
The system can be used anonymously and without any annoying registration; only the IP address is recorded in encrypted form for technical reasons. All settings, measurement data and automations are stored locally in the Home Control Unit and in the connected Homematic IP devices so that an internet failure does not affect either secure operation nor local control via the app.
Availability
The Homematic IP Home Control Unit will be available from 16 September 16, 2024. In advance, it will be presented to a wide audience in Germany at the IFA (6-10 September 2024) in Berlin. We look forward to seeing you in Hall 1.2 / Stand 210!
