2. Set up your Access Point

The Homematic IP Access Point is the central element of the Homematic IP smart home system and communicates via the Homematic IP radio protocol. You can teach-in up to 150 Homematic IP devices at the Access Point. With the Homematic IP app, you can easily configure all the devices in your system individually using your smartphone. Just connect a network cable and power supply to your Access Point and you’re ready to start.
