I You will find answers to the most frequently asked questions in our FAQ section - compact, easy to understand and always to the point. Find out all you need to know for optimum control of your smart home!

How does the CO₂ sensor help with the indoor climate?

The integrated CO₂ sensor continuously measures the air quality and displays the current CO₂ value in the room. This allows you to ventilate in good time before the air becomes "heavy", creating a pleasant and healthy indoor climate at all times.

Which frame variants are available for the glass push-button and the glass wall thermostat?

The glass frames are available separately and are not included in the scope of delivery. They are specially matched to the design of the devices and are available in single, double and triple versions. Thanks to the standardized 55 frame size, the frames can also be flexibly combined with other switch ranges.

How is the temperature set?

The temperature can be conveniently set directly via the two touch surfaces on the device. The Homematic IP app and voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are also available.

Can I retrofit the glass wall thermostat without major installation work?

Yes. In many cases, existing conventional wall thermostats can simply be replaced by the glass wall thermostat. It is installed in existing switch boxes (DIN 49073-1 or Legrand Batibox) and only requires a 230 V connection.

Which heating systems can I control with the glass wall thermostat?

The glass wall thermostat can control 230 V actuators for underfloor heating systems and can also be combined with radiator thermostats, underfloor heating controllers and switching actuators for electric heating systems.

Can I also use the switching output for other applications?

Yes. In addition to controlling heating systems, the integrated switching output can also be used to switch light or other electrical loads, as long as the switching capacity of max. 6 A (1380 W) is not exceeded.

Is the frame included in the scope of delivery?

No, the frame is not included in the scope of delivery and must be purchased separately. Homematic IP offers matching glass frames in three variants: 1-way, 2-way and 3-way. This allows the glass push-button or glass wall thermostat to be flexibly integrated into various switch combinations - depending on requirements and design concept. All frames are perfectly matched to the glass surface in terms of color and style.
