Adjust the LEDs to the course of the day or recreate the light of classic light bulbs. You can control your LED strips individually via the Homematic IP LED controller in your smart home. Up to four channels are available for this purpose. Via the Homematic IP app, you can set up brightness, color and time profiles individually and operate the entire system conveniently. You can also operate the LED controller with the Homematic IP wireless remote control and voice control with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

Individual setting of light and color moods

In the app, you can, among other things, configure switch-on times of the LED strips and set individual dimming times. This allows you to control the brightness of the LED strips depending on the time of day. In addition, you can also define the light temperature (Tunable White) and color moods (RGB, RGBW) with the LED controller.

Dim2Warm

With Dim2Warm, the dimming behavior of a classic incandescent lamp is replicated. The darker the LED strip is set, the warmer the light becomes. The brighter the LED is set, the colder the light appears.

Adapted to the course of daylight

Using the "Dynamic Daylight" mode of the LED controller, the light adapts to the natural course of daylight. Thus, the light changes from reddish to bluish light during the day and back again in the evening.

How to find the right LED Strip?

Select the right LED type for the desired operation mode: monochrome, Tunable White (for 'Dim2Warm' and 'Dynamic Daylight' functions), RGB or RGBW (colored light scenes). RGBWW LED Strips are not supported.

The controller supports strips with 12V and 24V voltage.

Be aware of the power consumption of the LED strip, usually specified in power per meter. Per connection channel, the Homematic IP LED controller - RGBW can output maximum 25.2 watts (at 12V) or 50.4 watts (at 24V). The possible connected load therefore results from the number of channels used.

Select a power supply with open cable ends for connection to the Homematic IP LED Controller - RGBW. Make sure you use the correct voltage (12V or 24V) and enough power to run your chosen LED Strip.
