Don't get caught out, make your garage door smart quickly and easily with the Homematic IP module for Novoferm drives, and from now on check the garage door's status in the app. But not only that: the app also lets you open or close the garage door, set clever time profiles and link the garage door to a "coming home" light. That’s smart.

Easy control from anywhere

Use the free Homematic IP app to control your garage door from the comfort of your sofa, from the car or when you're on holiday - easily and from anywhere. 

Check the status of the door at any time while you're out and about, and open or close it as required with a tap of your finger. The required light barrier ensures that nothing gets in the way of this either.

Fresh air always 

The ventilation position of the garage door ensures good air in the garage. To achieve this, the door opens by ten centimetres to allow good air circulation. After 60 minutes, the door closes automatically without you having to worry about it.

This makes bad air from exhaust fumes or high humidity a thing of the past. In combination with a Homematic IP humidity sensor (e.g. HmIP-STH), you can even automate the ventilation.

Compatible devices

The Novoferm Homematic IP module is simply connected to a compatible Novoferm garage door drive from year of manufacture 2016 onwards via a mini-USB connection. 

The following Novoferm garage door drives from year of manufacture 2016 onwards are supported: 

  • Novomatic N-423,
  • Novomatic N-563 S 
  • Novomatic N-823 S
    (ab Baujahr KW30/2020)
  • Novoport IV

A light barrier is required in order to detect obstacles during closing. Control is via a Homematic IP access point or the CCU3 central control unit and the free Homematic IP app.
