Darkness changes how you perceive your surroundings: suddenly you can’t see where you're putting your feet inside your own four walls, and you become unsure. With the Homematic IP Motion Detector – indoor, you make not only your lights smart but also your entire smart home safer. When motion is detected, it conveniently switches on the light or, if desired, reports an alarm.

Powerful, whether it’s light or dark

The integrated brightness sensor switches your light on at dusk and – if you wish – at dawn or on cloudy days.

The powerful lens detects movement at a distance of up to 12 metres and a detection angle of up to 105°.

No wiring means flexible installation

Install the motion detector wherever you choose. Battery operation and wireless communication give you maximum flexibility.

Simply mount the motion detector on walls or ceilings, or in corners. Or, with the stand supplied, you can place the motion detector anywhere you like.

Everything in view

The Homematic IP app always gives you an up-to-date overview of your smart home – so you can feel secure even when you’re out and about.

In activated protection mode, a message is immediately sent to your smartphone when motion is detected, and an alarm is displayed in the app.

Reliable and fail-safe

An alarm can be triggered even if the internet connection is inactive, as the devices communicate directly with each other.

If, for example, a burglar were to destroy an Access Point, the other devices would continue to be active.
