The control unit Multi IO Box makes your smart heating system even more efficient. The natural talent controls various devices and functions with its two outputs and inputs each. Multifunctional outputs

The Multi IO Box switches various devices and functions via two outputs:

Circulation pumps of the heating system
Circulation pumps for domestic water use

Heating boilers
Electric radiators
Heat pumps for switching heating/cooling mode

Inputs can be combined individually with outputs.

Heating or cooling? You decide
If you would like to cool your floor as well as heat it, supplement the underfloor heating actuator with the separate Multi IO Box control unit.

A heat pump with heating/cooling mode changeover must be available and the underfloor heating must be prepared for this. The Multi IO Box then controls an existing heat pump with which you can also use the underfloor heating for cooling.

Einfache Montage

Mount the Multi IO Box either on the wall or on DIN-hat rails using the screws supplied.

The DIN-rail adapter (HmIP-DRA) makes mounting on a DIN rail very easy.

Multifunctional inputs

Connect various external sensors or devices to the inputs of the Multi IO Box to make your heating system even more efficient:

Condensation sensors minimise the risk of mould formation due to condensation on your pipes in cooling mode

External switch for switching between heating and cooling
Time switches for individual control of your heating system
Temperature switches protect the floor against excessive temperatures

Flexible control possibilities

Use the Multi IO Box individually (in stand-alone mode) or as part of your smart home system.

For stand-alone operation, you also need an underfloor heating actuator (e.g. HmIP-FAL230-C6) and wall thermostat (HmIP-WTH-2). The actuator does not necessarily require an access point or the app. You make the settings directly on the wall thermostat.
As part of a smart home system and in addition to the Multi IO Box and an underfloor heating actuator, you also need the Homematic IP access point: Operation and setting are simple via the free app. You can expand your smart home flexibly in many areas to suit your needs.
