Setting up Philips Hue lights

To connect Philips Hue lights to the Homematic IP system, you need a Philips Hue Bridge and a Philips Hue user account

For integration, you need to enable "Control on the go" in the Hue account settings. Once that is done, the systems can be paired in the "Voice control and additional services" menu of the Homematic IP app and existing Hue lamps can be added to Homematic IP.

Behavior and functions

Adjust the brightness and color of the Hue lights in the app or control them via Homematic IP push button or remote control.

The Hue lamps behave just like Homematic IP devices. So you can add the lights to groups, control them via automations or connect them to other devices in your smart home. In the process, you can save up to twelve configurations as favorites to set the desired lighting mood with just one tap.
