The boost function ensures quick heating of the room. At the push of a button, the heat output is briefly maximised so that the room is pleasantly warm within minutes. This function is particularly useful if you want to switch quickly from cold temperatures to a pleasant room temperature.
Open-window detection prevents energy from being wasted by automatically reducing the heating output when a window is opened. In combination with Homematic IP Window and Door Contacts, this function can be controlled with even more precision for further savings in energy.
Eco mode is an energy-saving function that automatically reduces the room temperature to save heating costs. This is particularly useful if the room is not used for a longer period of time. Eco mode helps to reduce energy consumption without compromising comfort.
The whisper mode of our radiator thermostats ensures particularly quiet temperature control that you can barely hear. Ideal for bedrooms and children's rooms, this mode allows you to adjust the heating output almost silently so that you can live in peace and comfort at all times. Enjoy the perfect combination of efficiency and silence without any disturbing noises.
The Homematic IP Radiator Thermostat holiday mode is the ideal solution for saving energy while you are away. Reducing the room temperature to a minimum prevents unnecessary heating when nobody is at home. At the same time, this mode protects your heating system from frost damage. Come home to a well-protected and energy-efficient house without having to worry about the heating.

Window open detection works in combination with Homematic IP window and door contacts. As soon as the contact registers that a window is open, it sends a signal to the radiator thermostat. This then automatically reduces the heating output to save energy while the window is open. Without the window and door contact, detection is triggered by a sudden drop in temperature in the room, whereupon the thermostat also reduces the heating output.
No, when replacing Homematic IP radiator thermostats, no water can escape from the radiator. The thermostat only controls the opening and closing of the valve and does not intervene in the heating system. As long as the valve itself is intact and remains closed, there is no risk of water escaping. The thermostat can be installed and removed safely and dry without having to drain the heating water.
