You want to protect your home, whether you're there or out and about - including from burglars, who like to tamper with windows and doors. For this you need a contact that can be mounted in the frame of windows or doors so that it can't be sabotaged. The Homematic IP window and door contact is installed concealed in the frame and immediately detects open windows. This triggers an alarm if you want it to. But you can also connect your radiators to the contact so that they turn off when the window is open. Simply set all functions in the app.

Mount the window and door contact directly in the frame of plastic windows.

Use the adhesive strips supplied. A minimum distance of 15 mm between the frame and casement is required for installation in the frame. The sensor then can no longer be seen from the outside.

The room temperature is automatically lowered during ventilation when you connect the window and door contact to Homematic IP radiator thermostats.

You can even determine the lowering temperature individually. The comfort temperature is automatically restored as soon as you close the window.

In combination with a Homematic IP alarm siren (e.g. HmIP-ASIR-2), your home becomes even more secure. Because it automatically triggers a loud alarm when a window or door is opened.
