Your windows are a source of fresh air for many hours a day, especially during the summer months. However, frequent airing can be a challenge for smart window and door contacts: Permanently detected opening eats away at the battery charge. The solution: The Homematic IP window and door contact – optical, plus It has two batteries for extra long life and will not let you down prematurely!

Monitoring for a secure home

You can immediately detect the opening or closing of windows and doors via the Homematic IP app.

In combination with a Homematic IP alarm siren (e.g. HmIP-ASIR-2), your home becomes even more secure. Because it automatically triggers a loud alarm when a window or door is opened.

Extra long battery life

With normal window use, the two batteries allow you to benefit from up to four years of contact life.

Fresh air without wasting energy

The room temperature is automatically lowered during ventilation when you connect the window and door contact to Homematic IP radiator thermostats.

You can even determine the lowering temperature individually. The comfort temperature is automatically restored as soon as you close the window.

Everything in view when you leave the house

In the Homematic IP app you can always check whether all windows are closed - even when you're out and about.
