Weather sensors are the latest addition to the Homematic IP product range. They are available in basic, plus and pro versions. The sensors reliably and accurately detect external influences such as temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed, brightness and sunshine duration, as well as the onset and amount of rain. They can be deployed anywhere in the garden, thanks to their use of wireless communication and battery operation. When used with other Homematic IP devices such as the awning, blind or shutter actuators, they enable your smart home system to automatically adapt to current weather conditions. And users have almost unlimited possibilities for creating their own rules. For example, they can have the awning automatically extend in the event of strong sunlight or the shutters lower in the event of a storm.
