The wall thermostat ensures precise control of the room temperature and communicates directly with the radiator thermostat for optimum adjustment of the heating power. As soon as the window and door contact detects an open door or window, it immediately tells the radiator thermostat to reduce the heating power. That prevents unnecessary energy consumption and saves you money – simply and effectively with Homematic IP.
Heating schedules – Comfort as soon as you get home
The intelligent heating schedules ensure that your home always has the desired temperature as soon as you walk in. The smart radiator thermostats adapt to your daily routine and heat each room only when it is really necessary. Up to 13 programmable changes per day enable flexible control: the living room is warmed up in good time before you get home, and the bathroom has a comfortable temperature in the morning. When you are at work, the control system automatically reduces the temperature, thus saving energy.

Quick heat at the push of a button

Relax while travelling with the smart holiday mode
The Homematic IP Radiator Thermostat holiday mode is the ideal solution for saving energy while you are away. Reducing the room temperature to a minimum prevents unnecessary heating when nobody is at home. At the same time, this mode protects your heating system from frost damage. The temperature is automatically lowered while airing. The Homematic IP radiator thermostats detect open windows from the drop in temperature. That works faster and therefore even more efficiently in combination with window contacts. Savings of up to 33% are then possible, depending on user behaviour and the building conditions – a blessing for the environment and your bank account.
Optimal heat distribution made easy – with automatic hydraulic balancing
With Homematic IP, hydraulic balancing is automatic: all radiator thermostats and the 12-channel motorised floor heating controller ensure an optimum heat distribution and thus save energy. Certified by TÜV Rheinland, the system meets the requirements for many funding programmes. Confirmation by a specialist company is generally required for the funding.
