The home favorites are one of the most useful functions of the Homematic IP app. Up to now, up to four device functions per room could be displayed directly on the app's home screen in the tile view to enable particularly quick and easy operation. In response to popular demand from the Homematic IP community, the number of home favorites has been increased to up to 15 entries per room. This gives users an even better overview of their smart home.
The Home Favorites will be expanded with an update for the beta version of the new Homematic IP app, which will be rolled out from 4 June 2024.

Become a beta tester now
The beta of the new Homematic IP app is available for iOS and Android devices. Access to the free download differs depending on the operating system:
- Android: The Homematic IP app beta can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
- iOS: The beta is made available via TestFlight. Users must first set up the TestFlight app on their iOS device. Then open this invitation link on your iPhone to install the Homematic IP beta app. Due to the limitations of TestFlight, the number of participants is limited to 10,000 users.
