The Homematic IP water sensor sounds an alarm when it detects moisture or when the water level exceeds 1.5 mm – it is therefore at home in kitchens, bathrooms and basements. The sensor works on a variety of indoor surfaces. The device is also equipped with a tilt sensor that immediately detects and reports any unintended movement or manipulation.

Place the Homematic IP water sensor near pipes, dishwashers or washing machines – any leaks will be detected at an early stage. The sensor detects increasing wetness or moisture and triggers an alarm. It’s super smart: in case no one is home, the alarm message is also sent to your smartphone. So you can intervene quickly to keep water damage to a minimum.
