Do you sometimes feel uneasy at home when it gets dark? Do you want to be able to open the door safely and quickly when you get home late? If so then it's worth getting the weatherproof Homematic IP motion detector. It reliably monitors the outside of your home. If it detects movement - including your own - it switches on the light and also triggers an alarm if you want it to.

Powerful, whether it’s light or dark

Besides switching on your light when it's dark, the integrated brightness sensor will do the same at dusk or on cloudy days if you want it to.

The powerful lens detects movement at a distance of up to 12 metres. The sensor can also be rotated through 360 ° to cover the desired area.

No wiring means flexible installation

Install the motion detector wherever you choose. Battery operation and wireless communication give you maximum flexibility.

You can also install the motion detector outdoors or in the garage.
This is thanks to the wide temperature range of -20 to +40 °C and weatherproof housing (IP44).

Everything in view

The Homematic IP app always gives you an up-to-date overview of your smart home – so you can feel secure even when you’re out and about.

In activated protection mode, a message is immediately sent to your smartphone when motion is detected, and an alarm is displayed in the app.

Reliable and fail-safe

An alarm can be triggered even if the internet connection is inactive, as the devices communicate directly with each other.

If, for example, a burglar were to destroy an access point, the other devices would continue to be active.
