Wired underfloor heating controller – motorised

Make your underfloor heating smart and enjoy automated control. Everything works with the underfloor heating controller - motorised entirely according to your wishes and particularly energy efficient.

An optimum temperature at all times and energy savings.

Icy winter weather outside, pleasantly warm temperatures inside: That which gives you a secure feeling may well cost a lot of money. With the Homematic IP motorised wired underfloor heating controller, you can regulate the temperature steplessly so that only as much heat as you need is delivered. Homematic IP automates the hydraulic balancing. The FALMOT-C12 underfloor heating controller automatically recalculates the optimum flow behaviour of the heating water both permanently and directly on the basis of the target temperature.

The easy way to save heating costs

You can easily set the individual temperature curves in the Homematic IP app.

more

To ensure that the heating is only on when you want it on, there are up to six adjustable heating profiles profiles with which you can heat up to three times or cool down up to three times. You can do this easily via the app, directly on the wall thermostat dial or conveniently via voice control (using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant).

With automatic hydraulic balancing

Manual hydraulic balancing is not necessary. The Fraunhofer-IEE confirms: "At least equal to conventional hydraulic balancing.“

Flexible control possibilities

Simply use the underfloor heating controller together with a wall thermostat (HmIPW-WTH) in stand-alone mode or as part of your wired smart home. You can control up to 12 heating zones with one controller.

more
  • For stand-alone operation, a wall thermostat (HmIPW-WTH) and a motorised valve drive (HmIP-VDMOT) are required for each heating circuit. However, the controller does not need an app. You set everything directly on the wall thermostat. The power supply to both devices is provided via a Homematic IP wired access point (HmIPW-DRAP).
  • As part of a wired smart home system, in addition to the controller, the wall thermostat and a valve drive you also need a Homematic IP access point: Adjustment and operation are simple via the free app. You can expand your smart home very flexibly in many areas to suit your needs.

In this video we present the Homematic IP wired floor heating controller - 12 channels, motorised and explain the basics of smart floor heating control with Homematic IP.

Hydraulic balancing

Water takes the path of least resistance, resulting in different flows rates. The further away the radiators or heating circuits are from the heating system, the colder the room remains. The hydraulic balancing results in an even heating of all rooms by transporting the right amount of water to the right place.

The Homematic IP app

Configure all the settings for your smart home in the Homematic IP app, and use it to control, regulate and monitor your devices whenever you want – without providing any personal data!
