The smart way to monitor window glass

You want to know that your home's secure - whether you're at home or out and about. You can do this when you're in by monitoring your windows and doors with glass breakage detectors or magnetic contacts. Unfortunately though most of them aren't smart, and if you're out you'll be lucky to find out about glass being broken by a burglar, for example. With the contact interface of Homematic IP, you can retrofit a smart function into your windows and doors so that you'll always be aware of their status.

Monitoring for a secure home

Broken window and door glass is detected immediately and displayed in the Homematic IP app.

Combine this with a IP alarm sirene (e.g. HmIP-ASIR-O) to make your home even more secure. A loud alarm is triggered when glass breakage is detected.

Flexible installation

Connect the contact interface to a conventional wired glass breakage detector or magnetic contact and place the interface anywhere inside the room.

Radio communication and battery operation allow you to flexibly and easily mount the device on a wall or on a window or door frame. The relevant installation material is included.

Reliable operation

The contact interface runs autonomously without the connection to the power supply.

This is made possible by battery operation with a service life of up to 4 years.
