With the power supply unit, your Size 55 Homematic IP devices that are otherwise intended for battery operation can also be supplied with power by the 230 V mains. 

A mains supply means that batteries don't need changing.

Size 55 devices can be easily fixed to the power supply unit without any tools.

The power supply unit is easily integrated into the existing installation by mounting on a flush-mounted box (according to DIN 49073-1) The power supply unit is compatible with all Size 55 battery-operated devices such as the Homematic IP wall thermostat or the motion detector in the Size 55 frame!
