Dimmer compensator - always a perfect lighting mood

You've finally made your home a smart home with automated lights that adapt to your mood. But now they glow or flicker or even make noise while they're on. One possible reason: Due to increasingly complex electrical installations, malfunctions can occur with dimmable lamps. The Homematic IP dimmer compensator in combination with Homematic IP dimmer actuators ensures a quiet, disturbance-free lighting atmosphere.

No more disturbances like flickering, glowing or noise, thanks to the flexible installation of the dimmer compensator.

Anyone who wants to modernise the electrical installation in existing buildings, especially by using LED lights, is very soon faced with malfunctions such as annoying flickering or afterglow of the LEDs. These are often caused by induction voltages
in the lamp's supply cables.

Flexible installation

The screwless clamping points and the compact housing make installation easy and possible in many different locations:

In a flush-mounted box
In a surface-mounted box
Can be mounted on a top-hat rail without tools via Wago top-hat rail adapter

Ideal dimming

Look forward to the sort of dimming performance that you know from conventional lamps. Using the dimmer compensator as a load element in the electrical installation enables afterglow, flickering and noise to be prevented in lights (even when they're switched off) in a lighting circuit.

The component is ideal in combination with Homematic IP dimming actuators and phase-cut dimmers from other manufacturers.
