Whether you’ve locked yourself out or simply want to go jogging unhampered by your house keys, with the Homematic IP Keypad and the Door Lock Drive, your home is always open to you! Simply enter your secret code, and the door will open as if by magic. But the Keypad doesn’t just control your door with a code, it also switches on your lighting, opens the garage door or activates the alarm mode. Homematic IP is just as flexible as you are.

The internal Homematic IP Door Lock Actuator is controlled from outside via the Keypad using a secure wireless command – battery operated and with no wiring whatsoever.

Totally secure

Four- to eight-digit numerical codes, an integrated tamper contact and encrypted device communication reliably protect your home from intruders. The Keypad logs every code entry and is automatically blocked if too many incorrect entries are made.

The Keypad communicates via the secure Homematic IP wireless protocol. Homematic IP’s protocol, IT and data security has been repeatedly certified by the VDE Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies. Its high security standard has also been confirmed by AV-Test. And the integrated tamper contact prevents the Keypad from being tampered with by third parties.

Fail-safe operation

Because the devices communicate directly with each other wirelessly, you can still use the Keypad to control your door lock actuator even if the internet fails.

Access codes, access authorisations and time profiles are stored in the devices so that even an internet failure does not restrict their operation.

Full control, and not only of your front door: By connecting the Keypad to other Homematic devices, you can control the alarm, the light or the garage door with different codes.

Activate or deactivate the alarm modes with a numerical code, for example to activate absence mode when you leave the house. You can also switch the hall light on or off when you enter or leave.

Access authorisations 

Manage access to your home individually with eight different numerical codes and time-controlled access authorisations.

Assign different codes to family members, close friends, carers or babysitters and define who is allowed to enter the house and when. You keep hold of the spare keys or keyring remotes.
