Do you sometimes feel uneasy at home when it's dark? Would you like to be able to unlock your door safely and quickly when you arrive home late? If so then it's worth installing the weatherproof Homematic IP motion detector. It will reliably monitor the outside of your house. If it detects movement - even your own - it switches on the light and also reports an alarm if you want it to.

Powerful, whether it’s light or dark

The integrated brightness sensor switches itself on not just when it's dark but also at dusk or on cloudy days.

The powerful lens detects movement at a distance of up to 12 metres. The sensor can also be rotated through 360 ° to cover the desired area.

No wiring means flexible installation

Install the motion detector wherever you choose. Battery operation and wireless communication give you maximum flexibility.

You can also install the motion detector outdoors or in the garage.
The wide temperature range of -20 to +40 °C and the weatherproof housing (IP44) allow you to do that.

Everything in view

The Homematic IP app always gives you an up-to-date overview of your smart home – so you can feel secure even when you’re out and about.

In activated protection mode, a message is immediately sent to your smartphone when motion is detected, and an alarm is displayed in the app.

Reliable and fail-safe

An alarm can be triggered even if the internet is down, as the devices communicate directly with each other.

If, for example, a burglar were to destroy an Access Point, the other devices would continue to be active.
