Passage sensor with direction recognition

The smart passage sensor with direction detection detects the presence of people, their walking direction and the number of people.

Passage sensor with direction recognition

Lights on – only when you're home

A smart home should make your life easier and minimise or completely banish everyday annoyances. The best example: You come home after shopping and have to awkwardly try to switch on the light at every light switch. When that happens, the Homematic IP passage sensor with direction recognition is there to help. It not only reliably detects that someone's walking through the door, but also which direction they're walking in. In combination with Homematic IP light actuators, the light is switched on automatically when you enter the room.

Glühbirne

Automatic light switching

Mounted inconspicuously in the door frame or on the staircase, the sensor quickly detects people passing and switches on the lighting - even depending on the direction in which they're walking, if you want that.

more

In contrast to motion or presence detectors, the passage sensor only switches exactly when a person in the detection zone passes the sensor.
The powerful lens detects even the slightest movements, such as typing on a keyboard.

Haus mit Schutzschild

Provides additional security

The sensor is reliably suitable for security applications and sends an alarm message directly to your smartphone if an unauthorised person enters your house.

more

The integrated sabotage contact also sends you a warning via the Homematic IP app if the sensor is removed.

Zahnräder im Rahmen

Powerful sensor

A wide detection range of approximately 4.5 m and a detection angle of 66° for reliable detection even when it's dark.

3 Personen

Recognises the number of persons

Counts the number of persons* passing the sensor. This gives you an up-to-date overview of the presence of people in rooms.

more

*A 100 % accurate count of the number of people is only possible if it can be ensured that several people do not pass the sensor at the same time or are within the detection range of the sensor. Otherwise, the passage sensor should be used for controlling light sources in combination with a conventional or radio pushbutton / presence detector.

Tür mit Pluszeichen

Ideal for mounting in the door frame

Battery operation and compact design make the sensor ideal for mounting in the door frame.

more

Mount the inconspicuous sensor with either the supplied screws or adhesive strips, which will allow you to remove it without leaving any residue.
