Your smart home increases your comfort and sense of security - all fully automated. But sometimes devices or functions should be able to be switched on or off as you pass by. Make that possible with an all-rounder in the switch box: Besides connecting your existing buttons and switches to your wired smart home, the input module also does the same for conventional magnetic contacts on your windows. This enables you to also switch smart devices such as lights or shutters with manual pushbuttons: You also get smart security and indoor climate solutions with the window contacts.

Make up to 16 conventional switches and pushbuttons smart and control many functions and devices the smart way in the home.

Connect conventional pushbuttons, switches and reed contacts to the Homematic IP wired system via 16 independent inputs. A corrosion protection function extends the service life of connected switches and pushbuttons in extra-low voltage operation.

Cleverly combined

You can combine Homematic IP wired and wireless devices with each other.

In addition to the central Homematic IP wired access point (HmIPW-DRAP) you also require the central Homematic IP access point (HmIP-HAP) for this. More information about advanced routing can be found here.
