The motorised floor heating controller regulates your room temperature steplessly and so with great energy efficiency. Homematic IP automates the hydraulic  balancing. The FALMOT-C12 floor heating controller automatically and permanently recalculates the optimum flow behaviour of the heating water, and directly based on the target temperature.

To ensure that the heating is only on when you want it on, there are up to six adjustable heating profiles (three for heating and three for cooling) and 13 possible changes per day.

If you'd like to cool your floor as well as warm it, simply add a Multi IO Box to the motorised underfloor heating actuator.

The Multi IO Box controls a heating boiler or heat pump with which you can also use the underfloor heating for cooling.

Flexible control possibilities

Simply use the underfloor heating actuator by itself in stand-alone mode or as part of your smart home. You can use the actuator to control up to 12 heating zones.

  • A wall thermostat (HmIP-WTH-2) is required for stand-alone operation. However, the actuator does not need an access point or an app. You make the settings directly on the wall thermostat.
  • As part of a smart home system, in addition to the actuator you also need the Homematic IP access point: Operation and settings are simple via the free app. You can expand your smart home flexibly in many areas according to your wishes.

Water takes the path of least resistance, resulting in different flow rates. The further away the radiators or heating circuits are from the heating system, the colder the room remains.
