While you're out and about, it suddenly starts to rain and the wind's getting stronger and stronger. That quickly raises the question of whether it's raining at home too. With the Homematic IP weather sensor - plus, you always have an overview of the weather situation at home via the app. Reliably and accurately record weather data such as outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed and sunshine duration. Note: Combine the weather sensor with other Homematic IP devices to control your smart home even better.

Keeping an eye on the weather data

You can see all the measured values in the Homematic IP app.

The weather sensor provides a reliable and exact measurement of the temperature, humidity, wind velocity, onset of rain, rainfall volume, brightness (relative) as well as hours of sunshine.

Simple installation

Mount the weather sensor quickly and easily outdoors at your desired location with the robust stainless steel mast.

The anchors and screws for wall mounting are included.

Smart combinations

The intelligent storm protection prevents damage to your smart home.

When used in conjunction with the Homematic IP shutter actuators (e.g. HmIP-FROLL) for example, your awning is retracted automatically as soon as the weather sensor detects the onset of rain or strong wind.
